Games with Hands
The hands, more expressive even from the face, due to their flexibility and relative autonomy, an expressive medium on their own, a game, a tool; they can be used to express a million different things when they are under specific control.
How does a puppet move? It is our hand that moves its body; our hand is the puppet itself. The puppeteer disappears to give his place to two new personalities. Our own hands become the heroes of the show, two gloves, two heads from sponges, a see-saw. The hands are transformed into heroes-puppets, birds, animals. The skin is lit up or darkened, dressed in simple and casual material and its borders change.
